2. PKT’s role (marketplace and payment collection agent)
PKT provides a marketplace that lets you browse participating food trucks (“Merchants”) and place pickup orders.
Important: The Merchant (not PKT) is the seller of record for the food and beverages you purchase (“Products”).
PKT acts as a disclosed marketplace facilitator and payment collection agent for the Merchant.
PKT does not prepare or manufacture the Products.
3. Eligibility and account
You must be at least 18 years old (or the legal age in KSA) to create an account and place orders.
You agree to provide accurate information and keep your account secure.
You are responsible for activity under your account.
4. Orders and pickup (OTP)
When you place an order, you enter into a purchase contract with the Merchant.
Pickup is typically at the food truck / drive-thru style.
To confirm handover, you may be required to provide a one-time passcode (OTP) to the Merchant before the order is released.
If you cannot provide the OTP, the Merchant may refuse handover until verification is completed.
5. Vehicle information
You may register vehicles (plate number, make, model, color and optional nickname) or enter a temporary vehicle at checkout.
Vehicle details may be shared with the Merchant after successful payment to assist with correct handover.
6. Prices, VAT, and invoices
Prices shown in the App are set by the Merchant.
Where applicable, product prices may include VAT.
The Merchant is responsible for issuing your VAT invoice / simplified tax invoice from its POS at pickup.
PKT may provide a payment confirmation/receipt in the App; it is not the Merchant’s VAT invoice for the sale of Products.
7. Payments
PKT collects payments on behalf of the Merchant via payment service providers.
By paying through the App, you authorize PKT (as collection agent) to charge your payment method for the total amount.
If payment fails or is reversed, your order may be cancelled or not released for pickup.
8. Cancellations and refunds
Cancellation availability depends on the order status. In some cases, cancellation may not be possible after preparation begins.
Refund decisions for product-related issues are made by the Merchant.
If a refund is approved, PKT will process it primarily to in-app store credit (wallet), and/or to the original payment method where available and permitted by the payment provider and operational constraints.
Refund timelines may vary by bank/payment provider.
9. Wallet / store credit (if available)
PKT may provide a wallet/store credit.
Store credit can be used for eligible purchases in the App.
Store credit is not a bank account, is non-transferable, and is not redeemable for cash unless required by law.
PKT may allow refunds back to card in some cases (see Section 8).
10. Promotions
Promotions, discount codes, or credits may be offered and are subject to additional terms (eligibility, expiry, usage limits).
PKT may change or end promotions as permitted by law.
11. User conduct
You agree not to misuse the App (fraud, abuse, harassment, false claims, chargeback abuse, unlawful activity, security interference).
12. Intellectual property
The App and its content are owned by PKT or its licensors.
You receive a limited, personal, non-transferable license to use the App.
13. Disclaimers
Product preparation, quality, allergens, and fulfillment are the Merchant’s responsibility.
PKT does not guarantee Merchant availability, preparation times, or uninterrupted service.
14. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, PKT is not liable for indirect or consequential damages.
PKT’s responsibility relates to operating the App and facilitating transactions, not the Products supplied by Merchants.
15. Changes to the App or Terms
We may update the App and these Terms.
We will post updates in the App and/or notify you.
Continued use after the effective date means acceptance.
16. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, and disputes will be handled by the competent courts in KSA.
